The necessary documentation must include:

  1. Application form;
  2. Original full birth certificate;
  3. Legalisation of the original full birth certificate;
  4. Italian translation from a professional translator;
  5. Legalisation of said translation (only for non UK certificates);
  6. Photocopies of parent’s documents;
  7. If applicable, photocopies of other foreign ID documents, of the person whose birth is being registered.
