I graduated from the Advanced School for Translators and Interpreters (Sezione di Studi in Lingue Moderne per Interpreti e Traduttori, SSLMIT) in Trieste, Italy, and hold an MSc in Scientific, Technical and Medical Translation with Translation Technology from Imperial College London. Overall, I have been dealing with languages and translation for more than 10 years. My main fields of specialisation are market research, travel and tourism, medicine and law. I keep my knowledge and skills up-to-date by attending specialised webinars and online courses. In fact, I have just obtained the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) in Medical Interpreting and Translation. Moreover, I am a qualified Member of the Institute for Translators and Interpreters (ITI) and a member of Proz.com. My approach can be summarised in a few simple words: reliable, always available and flexible. I am aware of the importance of feeling taken care of, which is why I offer a customised service to every client. Being a client myself, I know what a client values the most. In addition to my commitment to quality, I also place a strong focus on availability in case of questions and special requirements. Wordsathand has been operating for more than 10 years and has recently shifted most of its focus to legal and certified translations. We mainly deal with official translations to be submitted to the Consulate General of Italy in London or the Home Office, but we also carry out legal translations for small business and large companies alike. In addition to our translation services, we also provide translation notarisation and legalisation services since we can reply on a large pool of trusted partners. Moreover, non-UK residents residing abroad can also contact us to perform legalisation services at the Consulate General of Italy on their behalf. We can count on an extensive pool of qualified translators who always deliver on time and to the highest standards. Wordsathand is an active member of the Italian community in London and participates in events and tradeshows.
